Most (if not all) UK government departments require emails to be encypted (to FIPS 140-2 as a minimum) that contain any information on clients/customers with whom we work. These emails have to be encrypted (we would be in breach of our contract to send non-encryoted emails). The ability to encrypt email from within WorldClient would be very useful!

At one time MD offered the ability to store messages in an encrypted form and I would think that it would be possible with OC to maintain encryption end to end storing the messages with a strong encryption on the mail server and on the users computer. This prevents someone obtaining access to the mail server and downloading the message store in a readable format or getting access to the end users PC and dumping the cache - currently anyone doing this gets everything in ASCII text format which is a BIG problem if there are any credit card details in the emails.

Very much looking forward to the idea of front-end encryption being worked into WorldClient.

Our company caters specifically to non-profit mental health agencies, dental practises and medical teams.

Currently, we've tried to integrate third party desktop software to aid in encryption but it's just too much to ask of end-users. One button, address book, public/private key encryption PLEASE!

RSA security and require the end user to know key to decrypt.

Sending of HIPAA-PHI information - we've done this already for Clients using MDaemon Content-Filter and ASP.NET/SQL. Feel free to contact off-list for a demo or explanation.

one main concern users have is the administrator viewing the emails. Bosses want their at least some of their messages encrpted from the administrators eyes.

We'd like mdaemon can be use with S-MIME protocol.

In France, we need to send /receive medical data, and the S-MIME is necessary.
Actually we use outlook with mdaemon for main usersn but we need to setup and use outlook express, without Mdaemon to received mail encryted
