Ability to batch import PST files into users mailboxes
Customers migrating from other Mail platforms often have a set of per user PST files they wish to migrate over to MDaemon. Currently the method of migrating this information involves each user setting up a new Outlook connector profile, Mounting the PST and moving the data over manually.
This works but is long winded for multiple users. It would be great if this migration could happen at the server. For example. you could have a migration tool that matches PST files (named to match MDaemon user accounts) and runs through the process of importing the data within the PST file storing it under that account. In a similar way that the Exchange Migration tool works.
The ability to migrate for other mail platforms would help attract new customers who wish to try out all of the benefits of MDaemon and Outlook Connector.
Thanks for sharing your idea. It will be considered for future versions of MDaemon.

Is it possible to add a feature to import a pst as a commandline like in Exchange with PowerShell? New-MailboxImportRequest -Mailbox <User> -FilePath \<machine>\PST-file\<user>.pst

Hi. My client wants to migrate from a previous version of MDaemon (v13) to the latest version and want their archived emails to be imported to IMAP automatically in MDaemon Email Server.
Is there an automated process? possibly with any third party tool? please recommend.
The export in pst is also interesting when you have to archive an account before deletion.
Hello MD support, I am also looking how to import .pst files of some users from outlook to their MD address book. Please add this feature too that is very useful for users.

There is a problem allied to importing a pst - if the user has used a / in a folder name. OC cannot import this and the process fails. You either then have to work folder by folder or delete everything and re-import (once you have renamed the offending folder).
