When mail is received thru MultiPOP subaddressing does not work, it goes just to the Inbox. It should work the same way like when mail is received thru SMTP.1 vote
Thank you for sharing your idea with us to implement subaddressing for mail collected via MultiPOP. In order for subaddressing to work via MultiPOP, the provider of your email account would need to allow messages to be delivered to a sub-addressed address. For example, if the account you are collecting mail from is "email@example.com" it would need to except a message to firstname.lastname@example.org in order for subaddressing to work. Most providers do not allow this.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Are you just wanting to route messages collected from MultiPOP to be routed to a specific folder?
